The game, which is currently in development by and several contributors, has been translated from Japanese to English by several members and regulars of TeamBN. For those not in the know, Shanghai EXE: Genso Network is an MMBN fangame set in the Touhou Project universe. Transmission IsolatorsYou play as Alice, a regular middle schooler who finds herself and her Navi Shanghai.EXE caught up in several incidents, caused by the nefarious organization ROM.

Many Touhou characters make an appearance as human characters and NetNavis, but you don’t need to be familiar with the series in order to understand the story; it plays just like Mega Man Battle Network. The game also bring some new elements to the table: two new elements, Poison and Earth, are added to the elemental cycle. The Style system in Shanghai EXE combines the Styles from Battle Network 2/3 with the Crosses from Battle Network 6, and the AddOn Manager, which replaces the Navi Customizer, lets you customize Shanghai with various programs. The current version of the game ( v0.40) runs up to Chapter 4 — roughly half of the story.

You can download the game for Windows PC on the. The game will also be shown at the this weekend, with a showcase of the English translation. Thanks to Kerreb17 for contributing to this post! One Step From Eden. Takara released the Advanced PET II on June 2004 and it was a complete improvement over the original Advanced PET; introducing elements such as Cross Fusion and Double Soul, and a faster time shaking to find those darn battles. But most important of all, being to role play as Lan from Mega Man NT Warrior Axess‘s later episodes. Much like the other Advanced P.E.T.s, the English version of the Advanced PET II was expected to come out under the hands of Mattel. Had shown up calling it the DoubleSoul Personal Terminal and even set it for a 2005 release, but it never hit store shelves. Fans assumed it to be a totally cancelled product Until 12 years later, a user named ubergeek77stumbled upon it completely by accident! Was it stolen from a Mattel warehouse?

Did it come out in a far off country without a peep? We don’t know and neither does he, but it’s good knowing this little collector’s item existed at all! Ubergeek has posted this video giving a side-by-side comparison with the Japanese version. More close-up photos can be viewed after the skip. We reached out to Mattel regarding this toy, but they declined to comment.

Special thanks to ubergeek77 for sharing us the photos, and MegaMasterX for additional information. This summer, speedrunning group TeamBN will be hosting their eighth bi-annual marathon: the TeamBN Summer Showcase 2017. You may have wondered what prompted our ‘scheduled maintenance’ announcement a few days ago.

If you’re a TREZ regular, you might remember that on this day four years ago, we launched our new TREZ homepage. Well, times have changed and we thought it was time for a fresh new coat of paint. The result is this beautiful website you see before you! And that’s not all — we’ve also overhauled the forums, and added some new features.Read on for the lowdown: Website As you can see, the TREZ website has been totally renewed, with a bigger focus on content and navigation. We’ve also traded in the predominantly dark color scheme for something a little easier on the eyes and designed a new logo. It should now be easier to find the content you’re looking for or read up on forgotten news posts from the past. The new site is also better equipped for mobile devices!

Forums Just like the website, our have been outfitted with a fresh new skin. Special care was taken to make the forums easier to use on mobile devices — for instance, ads will now scale to the width of your screen.(Bet you’ve never seen a ZetaBoards forum do THAT!) Additionally, we’ve trimmed off some of the fat to craft a sleek new front page. The number of top-level boards has been reduced, and several inactive boards have been merged to provide a smoother experience. But of course, the past is not forgotten — check out the new TREZ Archive to read old topics from the days of yore. Note: if you’re still seeing the old forum skin, you may have to scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose “TREZ CORE Light” from the theme chooser. Wiki Introducing a new part of the site:!This will be a compendium of information from the games, data mined and researched by TREZ staff and contributors. Here you’ll find detailed information on games, toys, and related subjects.

Currently the wiki is still a bit empty, but that will be changing soon. That said, you can already check out our area guides which list every single random virus encounter in the series!

This should be a great help if you’re replaying the old games and just can’t find that one virus that drops the chip you need.If you spot anything a bit off in the wiki, feel free to let us know! Any comments, suggestions or feedback regarding the wiki can be posted in. And with that, we’re all set for the hopefully many years to come. Let us know what you think of the new TREZ. Suggestions, bug reports, and the like are welcome.
