Mx Simulator Race Factory Compound Fracture
More thoughts after a few more hrs:This game without a doubt has the toughest single player AI in any MX game ever imo. I have everything maxed out on difficulty and have yet to get anywhere near winning a race on all the tracks. Perhaps I just suck but I won fairly easily against the AI in pretty much every other MX game (like everyone else) - really good stuff! By far my favourite aspect, they've nailed the AI finally.Couple of things I don't like:Track side signs coupled with very narrow layouts You will ride face first into these a lot to begin with especially.Track scaling is still inconsistent. There's a slight vagueness in regards to what you can and can't get away with as far as crashing is concerned. Sometimes you can over-jump and be fine, with no sign of trouble.
Other times over-jumping will instantly trigger a crash animation. Same with some corners. My point is it all happens extremely fast and doesn't feel desperately natural - like it wasn't something you ever really had a chance of saving.
There is no in-between, or almost crashing but getting away with it. Don't OJ things and don't get too cocky with the throttle, particularly out of turns. Don't OJ things and don't get too cocky with the throttle, particularly out of turns.I know what your talking about in your last paragraph. There are some physics tweaks that could be made, but once you get better you’ll learn when you can OJ something and how to avoid those weird corner crashes.
If you aren’t beating the AI on realistic yet you’re not too experienced with the game but the AI does haul ass. What’s great about the game is you have to use line choice and throttle control. Once your learn how to avoid the random tip over in corner, think it may be a combination of stick movement but other times you’ll hit like a invisible rock? As I got better this doesn’t happen much anymore and cornering is a lot of fun (maybe when the game is released next week they’ll have a release day update)I heard on pc the game is running like shit. Wrote:its so much better.railing the berms on the sand tracks on a 125 is epic the bike even sounds so good.i've never played a mx game with this good of ground physics.there is a russian track where you can just lay it into the berm.this game should be called berm busters its great i'm loving it.hard to believe this game is only 25$ on cdkeysWe must be playing different games because ruts are just an cool look on the track with no effect on the riding whatsoever on any single track. Wrote:Some word of advice to the hopeful:The 'PRO' physics is an absolute joke. Besides a few tweaks here and there, nothing has really improved, and somehow, for some demented reason, the air controls got worse.
The entire 'PRO' concept of this game is a gimmick, a lie created by their marketing team to suck us into buying MXGP3 all over again. And this is comming from someone who spent over 30 hours with MES and actually had a good time with it.Do NOT go into this thinking it's a new game, because it really isn't.Game is nothing like MXGP3. Go back and play MXGP3, it will feel unbearable in comparison. Ground physics are really good, in air physics aren't fantastic but they certainly don't hinder the game in my opinion. The scrub control isn't good but you don't need to use it. All in all I'm very happy with the game. The scaling of the tracks is about 1000% better than MXGP3.
To me it's a big improvement, and certainly not just a repackaged game as you claim. Knowing milestone (purchaser of 4 out of 5 milestone mx/sx games), they have already begun working on MES2 and mxgp pro 2, and they will careless to fix a damn thing.
Its like if I skeet on your walls in your house and you paint over it, its still covered in skeet. At least when I invest in Rainbow Studios-Nordic, its my hard earned American dollars going to an American company, who is dedicated to a SINGLE game, until it functions the way it was intended to.Vs.Foreigners who speak broken english, who has now pocketed over 240$ of my money, and only responds with 'thank you for your feedback'. Yet they are gonna release semi-annual motocross games, GTFO.P.S. This is not shade to any1 of yal who are having a blast with this game.
All the power to ya. I come from MX Sim(boooo) so I'm a little biased. Having said that there are some amazing things with this game that I like.Pros:-Amazing visuals. I can't say enough about that. It is a beautiful game.-Tuning. There is a lot more tuning options.
Almost Sim like.-The terrain wear looks great.-You can battle hard with people.-Bike sounds are on point.-Slightly better physics.Cons:-Physics. I just can't really get into the riding. The bike just doesn't want to do what I want it to do. I really don't care about the air stuff, I was looking forward to ruts, braking bumps, etc and using all of that.
They just don't seem to exist. The bike doesn't seem to grab ruts at all.
I seem to always pass right over the ruts like they are a painting. There are no braking bumps. Ruts do not form on any of the jumps. After a 30+2 the track doesn't seem to be anymore rough physically and the bike seems to glide over it all.Above all else dear god the damn snap over-steer crashing.
I've crashed do many times with this. It really needs to happen more slowly or at least offer more feel. You just gas it and it slides out and dead.I think its a really good game but came up short on a few promises. Can't say I'm enjoying it yet. It might just be because I can't use both toggles but cornering seems super inconsistent too sensitive when slow and almost dead going fast and sometimes I'll be struggling to turn then boom I'm heading off the opposite side of the track.
I feel like I'm crashing at odd times too, I mean I get it I might've been in the wrong line or too heavy handed on the throttle or brake but I'm not on the bike I'm holding a controller ya can't feel your front washing or rear breaking loose and having to learn how to ride a computer bike doesn't sound like fun to me.I feel like this is the result of everyone wanting it more sim like, but now we're relying on some algorithm to know what a bike will do or what a rider is capable of. And Spoiler alert it doesn't seem to know and it's pretty fucken frustrating.I'll keep at it but maybe I'm not the consumer it's aimed at.Edit: Should mention it looks incredible and I like how they've made the 2 strokes competitive against the 4 strokes (unless that's the reason I'm getting hosed haha). But after that race + two 30 min motos i got used to it and i love the handling model and the challenge it provides.
You really have to be careful to not get on full throttle too soon in the exit on the corners. Unless you take the outside with a berm. Wrote:I felt that too the first qualifying race. You really have to be careful to not get on full throttle too soon in the exit on the corners. Unless you take the outside with a berm.Yeah I will say I got better but I'd still get stung every now and then. I just find it hard to know what you can and can't do through corners! I'm sure it's mostly got to do with me not being able to use the right toggle as I just go over the top of berms if I try to rail one, but I tried a race on semi pro and it was the same. Very frustrating. That's also my primary reservation with the game i.e a slight vagueness with what you can and can't get away with. That said it definitely get's better with time and I'm crashing a lot less now, and getting close to winning a 30+2.

The rule of thumb generally is to really learn the tracks (down to individual corners), the lines and how liberal you can/can't be with the throttle depending on where you are, and picking the right gear. The AI definitely hauls but the real key of course is staying on two wheels consistently. Have done a small amount of messing with the settings with varying results but mostly trying to learn with stock. Surely I am missing something, there is no way milestone can be this stupid.Yep. Most players play online lol they may have forgotten about y’all. An update may be released on launch day.@jemceeIf you’re not using he right toggle you can’t even comment on the game lol. You can’t lean!?

Tho I will say I’m using the right stick a lot less in the game.Hitting invisible rocks in corner may be a glitch or stupid riding physics, but as I play more it happens less.
